Banjara is a community usually described as nomadic people with origins in Rajasthan. They spread gradually into Kashmir, Bengal, Karnataka and Gujarat, and are now found all over India. Well known for their art, beadwork and embroidery, Emily drew inspiration from them on her last trip traveling throughout Gujarat and are handmade in Gujarat by local female artisans who work from home to support their families. We have redesigned the adjustable closure with multiple loop options for size comfort which can be seen in our last close up photo as reference.
