Banjara Choker necklace

Banjara is a community usually described as nomadic people with origins in Rajasthan. They spread gradually into Kashmir, Bengal, Karnataka and Gujarat, and are now found all over India. Well known for their art, beadwork and embroidery, Emily drew inspiration from them on her last trip traveling throughout Gujarat <3 Our new favorite for this spring, all of the chokers are hand made in India by local female artisans who work from home to support their families. Adjust the chocker by pulling on the wooden bead.
